Moniek Pointer

Moniek Pointer is an experienced professional in emergency services and homeland security, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Emergency Services & Homeland Security at Los Angeles Metro since June 2023. Prior roles include Sr. Emergency Homeland Security Specialist at the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority and Manager of Emergency & Homeland Security at Los Angeles Metro. Moniek has also held significant positions, such as Safety and Emergency Preparedness Officer for the Superior Courts of California, and Sr. Disaster Services Analyst/Pandemic Influenza Coordinator for the County of Los Angeles EMS Agency, where responsibilities involved collaborating with the CDC.
