Troy McMillan

Troy McMillan is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in leading people and culture strategies within the mining and resources sectors. Currently serving as General Manager People & Culture at Metro Mining Ltd since August 2025, Troy previously held the role of Vice President Human Resources at Orica, where a comprehensive people strategy and employee engagement initiatives were developed. With a strong background at Rio Tinto spanning over a decade, Troy successfully led HR transformations, managed substantial workforces, and drove cultural change programs. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in HR/IR and a Bachelor's degree in Education (Economics) from the University of Newcastle.
