William Claypool

Instructor Of Culinary Arts at Metro Nashville Public Schools

William Claypool is an experienced culinary professional with a diverse background in food service management and education. Currently serving as the Instructor of Culinary Arts at Metro Nashville Public Schools, William teaches Culinary I, II, and III at Glencliff High School. Previous roles include Executive Chef at The Clean Plate Club, where culinary operations were managed for a notable Nashville catering company, and Executive Chef/Trainer at SUNY Delhi, overseeing a college dining program. As Director of Kitchen Operations at The Nashville Food Project, William contributed to providing nutritious meals for underserved populations in Nashville. At Vanderbilt University, William held multiple positions over two decades, culminating as Assistant Director/Executive Chef, where leadership was provided to a large staff and innovative food service strategies were developed.
