Georgia Main

Georgia Main possesses extensive experience in strategic communications and media, currently serving as the Executive Director of Strategic Communications for the Metro Tunnel Project since June 2025. Prior to this role, Georgia held various leadership positions at Metro Trains Melbourne, including Head of Media and Content and Head of External Affairs. As a spokesperson and senior media advisor at Public Transport Victoria from August 2018 to June 2022, Georgia contributed significantly to media relations. Earlier career highlights include a decade as a broadcast journalist at Seven Network and roles in news reporting and directing at FAIRFAX RADIO NETWORK and 3BA Radio, respectively. Georgia also has experience in academia as a lecturer in broadcast journalism at Monash University. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies from Swinburne University of Technology.
