Alexey Vasilyev

Alexey Vasilyev is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in plant layout design, project coordination, and 3D modeling. Currently serving as the Chief Layout Engineer at Metso since February 2023, Alexey leads plant layout design initiatives while supervising engineering contractors. Previously, Alexey worked as a Document Controller at Metso Outotec, focusing on project coordination and document management, and served as a 3D & Layout Expert at Fennovoima, where responsibilities included the design and quality review of BIM 3D models. Alexey's earlier role as a Senior Design Engineer at ATOMPROEKT involved leading a multidisciplinary project team for BIM development and producing comprehensive project documentation. Alexey holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Civil Engineering from Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University.
