Dr. Wolfgang Wienand

Dr. Wolfgang Wienand currently serves as Chief Executive Officer at Lonza since July 2024 and as a Director of the Board for Mettler-Toledo International, Inc. since November 2023. Previously, Dr. Wienand held various executive roles at Siegfried AG from August 2010 to June 2024, including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Scientific & Strategy Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, and Chief Scientific Officer. Prior experience includes strategic and business development roles at Evonik from 2002 to 2010. Dr. Wienand holds a PhD in Organic & Bioorganic Chemistry from the University of Cologne and multiple executive education degrees in areas such as International Finance, Business Administration, and Innovation Management from prestigious institutions including HEC Paris, IMD, and ESMT Berlin.
