Brian Person

Director Of Security Operations at MGM Springfield

Brian Person has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Brian started their career as a Correctional Officer with the Federal Bureau of Prisons in 1995 and later worked as a Correctional Officer with the STATE OF CONNECTICUT DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTION. In 1997, they became a Deputy U.S. Marshal with the United States Marshals Service and served in that role for five years before transitioning to become a Federal Air Marshal with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2002. In 2004, they joined the ATF as a Senior Special Agent and held various positions during their tenure, including SRT - Crisis Negotiator Team Leader and Acting Assistant Special Agent in Charge. Brian worked at ATF until 2022 when they became the Director of Security Operations at MGM Springfield. Additionally, they have held a teaching position as an Associate Faculty member at Post University and served as an Instructor for the Western MA CIT De-escalation Training Team at Behavioral Health Network, Inc (BHN).

Brian Person completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Westfield State University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Brian then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling with a focus on Criminal Justice from Liberty University, where they studied from 2014 to 2016.
