Dan Hobbs

Dan Hobbs is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and tax advisory services. Currently a Partner at Carpenter Box since November 2016, Dan specializes in advising start-ups and growing businesses, particularly in the areas of accounting systems, tax planning for small and medium enterprises, VAT planning, and HMRC dispute resolution. Previously, Dan served as a Partner at THL Accountancy from September 2013 to September 2016 and as a Tax Consultant at Spofforths LLP from January 2011 to August 2013, where Dan provided proactive tax advice to owner-managed businesses. Dan's career in finance began at Spofforths, where Dan held the position of Accounts Manager from August 2002 to June 2011. Dan’s expertise spans various sectors, including Property, Care, Technology, and Internet Media, as well as providing specialized tax planning for charities. Education was completed at Angmering Secondary School from 1995 to 2002.
