Harihara Ramanan Ayyappan has extensive experience in engineering and storage solutions, currently serving in the AWS Engineering - AI ML team at Amazon Web Services since August 2020, focusing on designing AI and ML-based solutions for both internal and external clients. Additionally, since March 2016, Harihara has worked as a Senior Level 3 Storage and Backup Engineer at The Michaels Companies, where notable contributions include designing and implementing IBM V9000 Flash Storage and virtualizing a 1 PB storage environment. Prior roles include Tier 3 Storage Engineer at Verizon Terremark, L3 - Storage and Backup at Michaels, and various storage consultant positions at ACS and HCL Technologies, as well as a storage administrator role at EMC.
