John Delk

John Delk is the Senior Vice President & GM of the Security Product Group at Micro Focus. John has held various leadership positions in Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing and Product Management at NetIQ from April 2011 to February 2015. Prior to that, they were with Novell from August 2004 to April 2011, where they served in various positions in Sales and Services Leadership. From January 2003 to August 2004, they were the VP at EDS. John also served as the Managing Director at BearingPoint from January 1998 to January 2002, and the Area Director at Carnegie Group from January 1996 to December 1998. From January 1992 to December 1996, they were the Director at Alltel. John also served as the Director at GTE Mobile Communications from January 1989 to December 1994, and the Director at Contel Cellular from January 1988 to December 1992. Prior to that, they were a Manager at Coopers & Lybrand from January 1986 to December 1989.

John Delk completed their BS in Math/Computer Science from Furman University and then went on to complete their MS in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

John Delk reports to Stephen Murdoch, Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Rohit De Souza - Senior Vice President, General Manager of the ITOM Product Group, Brian Mcarthur-Muscroft - Chief Financial Officer, and Lars Rossen - CTO & Fellow Micro Focus.
