John Frank

Vice President, United Nations Affairs at Microsoft

Effective March 1, 2020, John Frank will become the Vice President, United Nations Affairs at Microsoft. Presently the Vice President, EU Government Affairs, John will relocate from Brussels to establish Microsoft’s new United Nations representation office in New York. John and his team will help deepen Microsoft’s support for the UN’s mission and work. This includes advancing global multi-stakeholder action on key technology, environmental, humanitarian, development, and security goals as well as helping to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). John has been with Microsoft for more than 17 years, and has held a variety of leadership roles within the Legal and Government Affairs organization. He holds an AB from the Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton, and JD from Columbia Law School.
