Rick Drogosz

President of MAREC at Mid-America Real Estate Group

Richard Drogosz is a Principal at Mid-America Real Estate Corporation, and co-heads the Investment Sales Group. Mr. Drogosz specializes solely in the disposition and acquisition of retail real estate. His twenty nine years of real estate experience include: nineteen years with Mid-America Real Estate Corporation, two years with Grubb & Ellis Company, one year with Bank of Montreal, four years with JMB Institutional Realty Corporation and three years with Arthur Andersen & Company’s Financial Services Group.

Some of Mr. Drogosz’s career highlights include management of real estate assets for institutional investor held in form of REITs, involvement in the marketing and sale of approximately 77 million square feet of investment properties valued in excess of $7.9 billion with his fellow partners, development of strategic business plans for real estate investments and formulation of disposition strategies based upon quantitative and subject analyses, and management of a loan portfolio totaling $500 million.

A graduate of St. Mary’s College in Winona, Minnesota, Mr. Drogosz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. He is a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the states of Illinois and Indiana, and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
