Dennis Knox

Dennis Knox is the current President & CEO at Mid-Columbia Medical Center. Prior to their current position, Dennis was the Chief Executive Officer at Antelope Valley Hospital from December 2013 to August 2015. Dennis was responsible for the leadership and strategic positioning of a 420-bed acute care safety net hospital, the principle facility of the Antelope Valley Healthcare District. Total net revenue of $402 million and oversight of 2500 FTEs and 450 medical staff members. Dennis successfully led the turnaround of a troubled hospital, achieving the strongest financial position in four years with operating income of $8.038 million.

From May 2011 to December 2013, Dennis served as the Chief Executive Officer at Western Medical Center. Dennis was one of the top executives in a four-hospital system in Orange County, CA. Dennis was instrumental in establishing the overall strategic direction for the parent company. Dennis successfully led the positioning of Western Medical Center Anaheim as a safety net hospital in a very competitive market.

From March 2008 to April 2011, Dennis held the title of Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at UHS. As Chief Executive Officer, they were responsible for the overall strategic direction of the company.

Dennis began their career in healthcare as the Chief Executive Officer at Ardent Health Services from March 2006 to May 2007.

Dennis Knox received their Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business. Dennis also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Management Science from Duke University.
