Chad Madsen

Chad Madsen has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the software development and IT industry. Chad began their career in 2001 at LodgeNet Interactive Corporation, where they held positions such as Applications Programmer and Software Applications Manager. During this time, they managed teams of software engineers and implemented agile and traditional software development methodologies.

In 2012, Chad joined Sanford Health as an IT Manager, overseeing IT support for the Sanford World Clinics organization. Chad played a vital role in planning and facilitating IT initiatives for clinics in high-need parts of the world, collaborating with DocuTAP to deploy a specialized EMR solution in African clinics.

From 2014 to 2018, Chad worked at SONIFI Solutions, Inc., first as Director of Software Engineering and Research, and later as Vice President of Engineering. In these roles, they provided strategic direction and leadership to a talented team of software and hardware engineers, QA professionals, project managers, and network engineers.

Since 2018, Chad has been working at Midcontinent as Director of IT Development and Director of Software Development and QA. Chad leads teams of software developers in creating efficient and effective tools for Midco employees, partners, and customers, with the goal of making Midco the best communications company in the country.

Throughout their career, Chad Madsen has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, collaborating with business leaders to drive company goals, mentor employees, and foster a productive work environment.

Chad Madsen obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Animal Sciences from South Dakota State University from 1991 to 1996. Chad then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Computer Science at the University of South Dakota from 1999 to 2001.
