Sarah Airey

Sarah Airey is a Software Development Manager at Midsummer since May 2025, with a robust background in data science and speech recognition. Previously, Sarah served as Data Science Lead and Speech Scientist at Recordsure from April 2014 to November 2025. Sarah began a career in speech technology as a Speech Recognition Engineer at Nuance Communications from December 2008 to June 2013. Academically, Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech, a Master of Philosophy in Computer Speech, Text and Internet Technology from the University of Cambridge, and is pursuing a PhD in Speech Recognition (Acoustic Modelling) at the University of Cambridge.
