Christian Dorer

Christian Dorer currently serves as Leiter Direktion Kommunikation at Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund since February 2024. Dorer has been actively involved with SwissMediaForum since January 2018 as a member of the Advisory Board and Co-Programmleiter. A bus driver at Regionalbus Lenzburg AG since May 1997, Dorer also served as Präsident of the Konferenz der Schweizer Chefredaktorinnen und Chefredaktoren until December 2023. Previous roles include Chefredaktor at Ringier AG for the Blick-Gruppe from February 2017 to August 2023 and Chefredaktor at AZ Medien for az Aargauer Zeitung / az Nordwestschweiz from February 2009 to January 2017. Dorer's earlier career at Ringier AG includes various editorial positions from 2001 to 2009. Dorer graduated from Ringier Journalistenschule in 2000 and completed Grundstudium in Wirtschaftswissenschaften at the University of Zurich.
