Diederik Berghuijs

Diederik Berghuijs is a Senior Policy Officer and Economic Advisor at the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken since August 2023, focusing on economic advisory and policy development, and serving as the OECD coordinator. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Economist and Supervisor at Autoriteit Consument & Markt from September 2019 to July 2023, where Diederik led initiatives related to retail energy tariffs and consumer market regulations. Earlier positions include leadership and logistical planning roles at MarleenKookt and training as an officer in the Korps Mariniers. Diederik holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam, as well as education from Koninklijk Instituut voor de Marine and Tabor College Werenfridus.
