Revaz Kakulia is an experienced professional in regional development, innovation, and investment policies, currently serving as the Director of the Department of European Integration, Reforms, and Innovations at the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia since August 2013. Kakulia has held various leadership positions, including Managing Partner at the Center for Effective Governance Systems and Technological Advancement of Regions (CEGSTAR) and Economic and Infrastructural Development Coordinator at the UNDP. With a strong background in governance, policy-making, and strategic planning, Kakulia has contributed to multiple international projects focusing on fiscal decentralization, regional economic development, and investment incentives. Kakulia holds advanced degrees in Public Economics and International Law from notable institutions, including Central European University and the University of Minnesota Law School.
