Andrew Hanegmon

Andrew Hanegmon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering education and community development. Currently serving as a Facilitator for Iron Range Engineering at Minnesota State University, Mankato, Andrew guides project-based engineering students and fosters a community of lifelong learners. As an Optimizer at Iron Range Makerspace LLC, Andrew directs initiatives to enhance economic growth and community engagement through innovative programming. Previous roles include coaching a robotics team at Hibbing High School, supervising manufacturing processes at Detroit Reman - DMR Electronics, and managing efficiency improvements as Engineering Intern Manager at Iron Range Engineering. Andrew holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and completed the Blandin Community Leadership Program in 2016.
