Simon Anderson is a cloud industry chief executive and entrepreneur. He founded Mission in 2017 to accelerate enterprise cloud transformations by delivering a differentiated and agile suite of managed cloud and consulting services. Partnered with AWS, Mission’s always-on services enable its customers to scale and outpace competitors by leveraging the most transformative technology platform and enterprise software ecosystem in history. Mission is backed by Boston-based private equity firm Great Hill Partners, which focuses on mid-market growth investments. Prior to Mission, Anderson was the CEO of DreamHost, the web hosting and cloud services company, and also a co-founder of software-defined storage company Inktank, which he sold to Red Hat for $175M. Prior to his executive leadership in the cloud industry, Anderson worked in venture capital and in law, where he holds a degree. His educational background includes the Australian National University and Harvard Business School.
