Prof. Dr. Pushpita Awasthi

Prof. dr. Pushpita Awasthi serves as the President of the International Non-violence & Peace Academy and the Guardian of Earth & Global Culture International Foundation, both since January 2021 and January 2020 respectively. Additionally, Pushpita holds the position of Global Ambassador for World Peace at MIT World Peace University since January 2019 and has been the National President at Acharyakul since June 2019. As a prominent figure in the Hindi language and literature, Pushpita was the head of the Hindi Department at Vasanta College for Women for over two decades and has contributed significantly as a poet, journalist, translator, and fiction writer. Pushpita's academic background includes a Master's and PhD in Hindi Language and Literature from Banaras Hindu University, further enhancing Pushpita's role as a cultural and linguistic diplomat. Pushpita is also recognized as an ambassador of PVCHR and actively engages the public through the Pushpita Awasthi Blog while authoring columns and books dedicated to preserving human culture and rights.
