Richard Nelson

Richard Nelson is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in the technology and healthcare sectors. As Co-Founder and Patient Advocate at the RARE KIDNEY DISEASE FOUNDATION, Richard focuses on advancing treatments for genetic kidney diseases. Richard also serves as a Diplomatic and Strategic Advisor at MIT World Peace University and is a Board Member for Junior Achievement of Utah/Idaho, where efforts are directed towards inspiring disadvantaged youth. Previously, Richard held various influential roles, including President & CEO of the Utah Technology Council, where achievements included the establishment of the $100 million Utah Fund of Funds and recognition as CEO of the Year. Richard co-founded the Technology Councils of North America and contributed significantly to several educational and technological initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to improving both business landscapes and community welfare through collaboration and innovation. Richard's educational background includes an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and multiple degrees from Brigham Young University.
