Maisha Williams

Maisha Williams, MBA, CPA, is a seasoned finance and operations consultant currently serving as the Founding Partner at MKW Advising since April 2025, where focus is on supporting higher education and nonprofit institutions. Prior to this role, Maisha served as Chief Operating Officer at Carnegie Science, leading strategic initiatives alongside the President. Experience also includes significant leadership positions at Marymount Manhattan College as the Executive Vice President, Finance & Administration, and at The George Washington University in various senior financial management roles. Earlier positions include Assistant Controller and Director of Risk & Controls at Howard University, and a managerial role at PricewaterhouseCoopers specializing in nonprofit and education sectors. Maisha holds an MBA from The George Washington University School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Syracuse University.
