Dr. Lasonya Thomas

Dr. LaSonya Thomas, DNP, MSN, BSN, RN, has over two decades of nursing experience, currently serving as Employee Health Nurse and Staff Development Coordinator with the Mobile County Public School System since 2002. In addition to clinical roles including Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse, Dr. Thomas has contributed as an Adjunct Faculty member at Bishop State Community College since 2020. Previous nursing experiences include roles at Saad Healthcare, Kindred Healthcare, and various healthcare facilities, encompassing hospice care, medication administration, wound care, and patient collaboration. Dr. Thomas holds a Doctor of Nurse Practice from Grand Canyon University as well as multiple nursing degrees, emphasizing a strong educational foundation in nursing practice and education.
