Morten Kjelsø

Morten Kjelsø is the CTO at MobilePay. Morten has previously served as the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) and member of the executive board at MobilePay from September 2017 to December 2021. In this role, they were responsible for product portfolio direction and ambitions, user experience, product management practices, roadmap planning and investment prioritisation process. Morten was also responsible for all aspects of MobilePay's technology direction, engineering and development practices, and infrastructure and IT operations.

From June 2012 to August 2017, Kjelsø served as the Senior Vice President - IT Strategy, EA & Governance at Danske Bank Group.

Kjelsø has a long history of working in IT and has been instrumental in driving strategic partnerships in relation to products and technology. Morten is also a board member of the European Mobile Payment Systems Association (EMPSA).

Morten Kjelsø has a PhD in Computer Engineering from Loughborough University, an MBA in General Management from Henley Business School, and a BSc in Electronic & Electrical Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark.

Morten Kjelsø reports to Claus Bunkenborg, CEO. They are on a team with and Joakim Skaarup Hansen - CRO.
