Alexey Kretov

Alexey Kretov currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer for MTS Group, having joined the company in September 2021. In this role, Alexey is responsible for developing and implementing the technological strategy for the cluster, building strong technology leadership within product teams, and overseeing key technological initiatives and integration with external partners. Under Alexey's leadership, a new low-code ecosystem platform was launched, supported by a team of over 800 engineers. Previously, Alexey was a Project Director at Stream LLC, where a transformation to a product management model was achieved and significant projects including the integration of Apple Pay were realized. Additional roles included Head of iOS, focusing on mobile application development, and iOS Developer at Artec, contributing to a mobile client for a bank. Alexey's academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science and a specialist degree in mathematical support for information systems from Saint Petersburg State University.
