VP, Supply Chain at MOD Pizza

Denise Cheung is currently the VP of Supply Chain at MOD Pizza. Prior to this, they were an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company from November 2014 to March 2021. At McKinsey, Denise was the founder of the Culinary Excellence Center, where they deployed technical Food Science & Culinary expertise to identify impact through competitive product teardowns, bottom-up cost models, rapid sensory testing and more. Denise was also a leader in the Consumer (CPG & Retail) Practice and Operations (Product Development & Procurement) Practice.

Before McKinsey, Denise was a Manager at KPMG US from February 2014 to September 2014, where they worked in the Strategy & Operations Advisory service line for Strategic Sourcing & Procurement.

Denise began their professional career as a Junior Quantitative Analyst at Bakers Investment Group from June 2008 to November 2008. Denise then interned at KPMG from December 2008 to January 2009 before becoming a Manager at KPMG from March 2010 to December 2013.

Denise got their start in the academic world as a Teaching Assistant (TA) at The University of Queensland from February 2009 to December 2009, where they were a University Tutor for Business, Economics & Law (BEL) Faculty courses.

Denise Cheung has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland, with a focus in finance and quantitative methods (statistics). Denise also has a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Melbourne, with a focus in classical saxophone performance.
