Christoph Brackman

Christoph Brackman is the Senior Vice President of Finance at Moderna Therapeutics. Prior to this, they served as the Global Head of Investor Relations and Chief of Staff to the CFO at Shire from September 2016 to May 2019. Christoph was promoted to this dual role with the objective of aligning the Investor Relations function more closely with the business. Christoph also played a key role in financial strategy as a trusted advisor to leadership, including being responsible for CFO communications, planning, and presentations. Christoph oversaw the smooth integration of finance planning with Takeda as the nominated finance integration lead on the Shire side.

From January 2015 to August 2016, Christoph served as the Chief Financial Officer for North America at Elanco. Prior to that, they were the CFO Region Europe for Animal Health & Finance Integration Lead for divestment to Eli Lilly at Novartis from March 2004 to January 2015. Christoph started their career in M&A at Sal. Oppenheim from January 2000 to December 2002.

Christoph Brackman has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from London Business School, an MBA from SDA Bocconi, and Harvard Business School Executive Education.
