Thomas Kuhlman

Thomas Kuhlman is currently an Executive Director of Corporate Development at Moderna, where they are part of the Business Development & Corporate Strategy team, focusing on advancing mRNA science for transformative medicines. Previously, Kuhlman served as Head of Business Development & Strategy at Novozymes, leading the human health pipeline and team culture. They also have experience as a management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, specializing in strategy and operational excellence. Kuhlman earned a PhD in physical chemistry from the Technical University of Denmark and holds an MSc in Nanoscience from the University of Copenhagen, alongside extended studies at UC Berkeley and Stanford University. They have contributed to several peer-reviewed scientific papers, showcasing their expertise in the field.
