Rich Alessi is the Senior Vice President of Customer Success for Modernizing Medicine, where his team delivers the company’s core belief and vision of “customer delight” throughout the entire post sale experience. He leads Modernizing Medicine’s implementation, training, customer support and customer success functions, which consistently earn industry leading results in the areas of client retention, net promoter score, and client satisfaction. The Customer Success Team at Modernizing Medicine has been recognized with multiple customer service and customer success awards (2017 SIIA CODiE “Customer Success Team of the year”, 2018 Customer Sales & Services World Awards® “Customer Service Team of the Tear”, 2019 Customer Sales & Services World Awards “Best Use of Technology in Customer Service). Rich has 15 years of experience in B2B software operations leadership roles and has developed a successful track record building customer success, professional services, customer support and managed services teams, which demonstrate tangible and ongoing value to customers in complex and regulated industries. Prior to this, he accumulated 10 years of experience in technology leadership positions at large and small companies. Before joining Modernizing Medicine, Rich was the Head of Professional Services for Thomson Reuters, where he led large scale global teams implementing tax, legal, and compliance software solutions for customers of all sizes. He also held other roles at Thomson Reuters, leading customer success and technical support. Rich has held leadership roles at high growth start-ups (Sabrix, Marketlive) as well as large established companies (First Data). Rich has a BS in Finance from California State University, Chico and an MBA from San Francisco State University Lam Family College of Business.
