Holly Saelens

Holly Saelens is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in healthcare and public policy. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Molina Healthcare since May 2011, Saelens leads efforts in the procurement and retention of state and federal contracts for government-sponsored health insurance, emphasizing strategic relationships with regulatory agencies and achieving exceptional compliance and growth for the Ohio health plan. Previously, as Vice President of Government Relations at Amerigroup Community Care of Ohio, Inc., Saelens managed legislative affairs and business development for a Medicaid Managed Care plan. Earlier roles include Assistant Director and Interim Superintendent at the Ohio Department of Insurance, where Saelens oversaw consumer advocacy and regulatory oversight, and Director of Public Policy Services at The Ohio Manufacturers' Association, focusing on issues affecting Ohio manufacturers. Saelens holds a BA in History with a Minor in Business Administration from Ohio University and an MA in Public Administration from The Ohio State University.
