Christian Westerlind Wigstrom

Christian Westerlind Wigstrom is a co-founder and ex-CEO of Monoova, recognized as "Company of the Year" at the Global Fintech Awards in 2025. Since launching the account-to-account payments company in January 2017, Christian has led it to process over AUD 190 billion and has been a driving force behind real-time payments in Australia. They have also served on the boards of Fintech Australia and the Australian Payments Network, showcasing their leadership in the fintech sector. Previously, Christian was recognized as one of Sweden's 101 "Super Talents" in 2016 and has held various strategic roles, including as an economic advisor in the British Parliament and a consultant. Christian earned a PhD in International Relations and a Master's in Economics from the University of Oxford.
