Marcus Brown

Marcus Brown serves as the Program Director for the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless since July 2015 and has held the position of Assistant Director at the Community Council for the Homeless at Friendship since October 2012, focusing on the Housing First Model of Service. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Division Director on the Neighbor's First Program's strategic plan, implementing new services, and overseeing staff-related decisions. Previously, Marcus held the position of Operations Manager at Stepping Stones Shelter from February 2007 to November 2009. Marcus holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Studies from the University of Maryland.
