Bryan Bomer

Bryan Bomer is a seasoned professional in sustainability and building management, currently serving as the Sustainability, Energy and Mechanical Manager for Montgomery County Government since March 2020. Responsibilities include enforcing Energy, Mechanical, and Green Building codes across a diverse area that encompasses over 500 square miles and a population of approximately one million. Prior to this role, Bryan worked as a Program Analyst and Green Building Professional at the DC Department of Consumer & Regulatory Affairs from March 2017 to March 2020, where contributions included the development of green building policies and industry engagement. Bryan's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Green Building and Sustainability Consultant at Austin Energy from May 2008 to March 2017, and as a Guest Services Supervisor at Crowne Plaza & Lofts Hotel Downtown Columbus, Ohio. Bryan holds a degree in Construction Systems Management from The Ohio State University.
