Jacob Newman

Jacob Newman currently serves as the Director of the Silver Spring Regional Service Center for Montgomery County Government, a position held since August 2021. Prior to this role, Jacob spent nearly 13 years at the Latin American Youth Center, where responsibilities included serving as Managing Director and leading workforce development efforts, managing substantial grants, and overseeing programs aimed at youth support. Jacob's experience encompasses launching workforce initiatives, developing educational curricula, and fostering partnerships to promote social services. Educational background includes a degree in Political Science, International Affairs, and Spanish from the University of Rhode Island, along with studies at Universidad Andres Bello and The George Washington University.
