Before joining MMH, Wigington worked in Casper, Wyoming for Wyoming Medical Center (WMC). The hospitals have similarities with being independent, non-profit hospitals serving a rural region. The two hospitals operate in the quickly changing healthcare environment that includes caring for communities while facing declining reimbursements from the federal government. Wigington has lived in Casper, Wyoming most of her life – but feels the Montrose region will be a great fit.
