Garen Melikyan

Garen Melikyan is an accomplished professional in the field of information security and IT governance, currently serving as the Director of Information Security and IT Governance at Morae since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles such as Head of Information Security Governance Risk & Compliance (Deputy CISO) at Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC Partners, and Associate Director of Cyber Security at BACB plc, where Garen was instrumental in designing comprehensive cyber security strategies and frameworks. Garen has held significant positions with global organizations, including Global IT Audit and Controls Manager at SAB Miller, Information Security Officer at Phorm, and Group IT Risk & Performance Manager at Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation PLC. Garen's educational background includes an MBA in IT and Finance from the University of Maryland and an MSc in Telecommunications Engineering from the National Polytechnic University of Armenia.
