Michael Wood

Michael Wood, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the investment industry. Currently serving as Senior Adviser and Partner at Morgans Financial Limited since 2009, Michael is an equity partner of the Camberwell franchise, focusing on full-service stockbroking and portfolio management. Prior to this role, Michael was Director at Phoenix Portfolios Pty Ltd from 2006 to 2009, specializing in tax-aware Australian equities. Michael's career also includes a significant tenure at Citigroup as Managing Director and Head of Asia - Equities & Balanced for the Asset Management arm from 1999 to 2006, and as Head of Equities at JP Morgan Investment Management from 1994 to 1999. Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics with a focus on Accounting & Finance, both from Monash University, and completed education at Xavier College.
