Michael A. Jacobs

Michael A. Jacobs serves as a JAMS Neutral since April 2024, bringing extensive legal expertise from a long-standing career as a Partner and Trial Lawyer at Morrison Foerster, starting in January 1984, where the focus is on litigation of intellectual property and technology disputes, particularly in the life sciences and electronic industries. Prior experience includes a role as a Lecturer teaching a trade secrets seminar at UC Berkeley from 2009 to 2013, and various positions within the US Department of State, including Foreign Service Officer and Special Assistant in the Arms Control & Disarmament Agency from January 1977 to August 1981. Michael holds a JD from Yale Law School and a BA in History from Stanford University.
