Matthew Ford, PMP, is an experienced professional in the energy storage sector, currently serving as Senior Preconstruction Manager for Moss & Associates since August 2025. Previously, Matthew held the position of Senior Manager, Energy Storage for Lightsource bp, where responsibilities included the development of essential preconstruction templates and delivering energy storage presentations to project management and engineering teams. Matthew's expertise extends to managing significant battery storage projects at Signal Energy Constructors and Mortenson, where leadership in design and project execution was demonstrated. With a background as a Construction Project Manager in the US Army, Matthew managed various construction and logistics projects and developed impactful training systems, underscoring a commitment to efficiency and team success. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa.
