Carlos Monroy serves as the Vice President of Advocacy for Mexico at the Motion Picture Association since February 2023. Previously, Carlos held the position of Advocacy Director at the Secretaría de Economía México from January 2021 to November 2022, and served as Coordinador de Asesores during that time. Prior roles include Technical Secretary for the Vice Coordination at the Cámara de Diputados from January 2018 to December 2020 and Legislative Advisor in economic and international matters at the Cámara de Senadores from October 2016 to April 2018. Carlos also worked as a Legislative Advisor for the Senate's Board of Directors from February 2013 to October 2015. Academically, Carlos earned a Master of Science in Political Science and Government from The London School of Economics and Political Science and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas A.C.
