Alexandra Oliveira

Alexandra Oliveira, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist at Mott Corporation as of January 2025. Previously, Alexandra served as a Chemical Engineering PhD Candidate at the University of Delaware from August 2019 to August 2024, focusing on the performance optimization of porous electrodes in anion exchange membrane electrolyzers and synthesizing electrocatalysts through galvanic corrosion mechanisms. Prior experience includes positions as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut, contributing to projects on chemical sensor technology and improving anodes for Li-ion batteries, as well as internships at Argonne National Laboratory and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Alexandra also has experience as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and an Operations Intern, enhancing production processes in engineering settings. Alexandra earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Connecticut and is currently pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Delaware.
