Karena Strella

Karena Strella is the Chair at Mount Holyoke College. Karena has over 20 years of experience in leadership development and organizational change.

Karena began their career as a Consultant at BDC Advisors, LLC. There they worked with clients on strategic planning, team development, and change management. In 1998 they transitioned to The Permanente Company as a Senior Venture Manager. There they led large-scale organizational change initiatives and developed new business ventures.

In 2001 Karena joined Egon Zehnder where they have been a Partner for the last 19 years. At Egon Zehnder they have focused on developing the firm's intellectual property and psychometric tools on executive potential. Karena has also worked extensively with clients on succession planning, individual and team assessment and development, creating cohorts to accelerate strategic objectives, cultural understanding and diversity/inclusion.

Karena Strella has a MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Psychology from Mount Holyoke College. Karena also attended Muscatine High School.
