Kristen Chappell

Kristen Chappell currently serves as the International Student Support and Immigration Advising Coordinator at Mount Royal University, a position held since March 2018, where responsibilities include assisting students with immigration issues and support enrollment management for international students while maintaining expertise in Canadian immigration laws and policies. Prior experience at Mount Royal University includes roles as Resource Centre Coordinator for Interior Design (2015-2018) and Scholarship Coordinator (2005-2014). Additional work experience encompasses positions such as Executive Administrator and Human Resources Coordinator at SolTech Engineering Inc. (2001-2005), High School Teacher at Edge School for Athletes (2001), and a stint with the Government of Canada’s Department of Fisheries and Oceans (2000). Earlier teaching roles were fulfilled at St. Boniface Diocesan High School (1998). Kristen Chappell holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba (1993-1997) and completed the International Students and Immigration Education Program (ISIEP) through CBIE in 2020.
