Sicco Bakker

Sicco Bakker is an accomplished Senior Legal Counsel with a robust legal background spanning over two decades. Currently serving at Movares since June 2025, Sicco previously held multiple roles at Heerema Marine Contractors from June 2013 to June 2025, including Group Manager Compliance and Senior Legal Counsel. Additional experience includes legal counsel positions at Van Hattum en Blankevoort / Volker Wessels and Dura Vermeer, as well as serving as Advocaat at Vereniging Eigen Huis. Sicco's expertise encompasses public procurement, heavy civil engineering, PPP projects, offshore contracts, business law, and large design & construct contracts. Sicco holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the University of Groningen, completed in 1999.
