Igor Hjelmstrom Vinhas Ribeiro

Igor Hjelmstrom Vinhas Ribeiro serves as the Engineering Director at iFood, leading software development for the company’s consumer applications and platforms since March 2019. With extensive experience in technology leadership, Igor holds an ongoing advisory role as an IT Advisor at Movile and previously held various positions within the organization, including IT Director and IT Manager. Igor has also partnered in founding Walltime, a prominent digital asset exchange in Brazil. Previous roles include serving as a Lead Developer at IBM and Technical Leader at Medco, along with significant contributions in earlier positions at Dextra Sistemas and Embrapa. Igor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual de Campinas and completed executive education in eCommerce at Harvard Business School.
