Clynton Namuo

Clynton Namuo currently serves as Vice President, Corporate Counsel at MP Materials since March 2021, having held prior titles of Associate General Counsel and Compliance Counsel. Previous experience includes a tenure as Senior Associate focused on complex environmental litigation and permitting at Alston & Bird from September 2016 to March 2021, along with roles as an Associate and Summer Associate at the firm. Clynton's early career involved positions as Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia State University College of Law, where involvement with the Consortium on Negotiation and Conflict Resolution played a key role, and as Legal Extern at the United States Attorney's Office. Clynton began a career in journalism as a Correspondent for the New Hampshire Union Leader and a Reporter for Pacific Business News. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Boston University.
