Kaine Sloan

Kaine Sloan currently serves as a Prototype and Process Engineer/Supervisor at MP Materials, focusing on restoring the rare earth supply chain in the United States and developing innovative methods for producing magnets for modern technology. Previously, Kaine held the position of Magnet Technology Technician, where methods for magnet production were developed and analytical instruments were operated for production purposes. In addition to work at MP Materials, Kaine works as a Chemistry Consultant for Dr. Garcia at Texas Tech University, assisting in the development of a probiotic supplement for pigs. Kaine possesses a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, along with minors in Spanish and Biology, obtained from Texas Tech University. Prior research roles included work on probiotic and electrolyte supplement beads for pigs, disease research related to PRRSV, and pheromone research utilizing SPME-GC-MS, all supervised by Dr. McGlone.
