Morgan Janes, PhD, is a highly experienced professional in the fields of biological engineering and medical technology. Currently serving as a Summer Fellow at MPM Capital and a Freelance Writer for ACIR, Morgan recently completed a PhD in Medical Engineering and Medical Physics with a concentration in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Bioengineering from the University of Maryland. Prior roles include VC Fellow at ARTIS Ventures and extensive research experience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Mitragotri Laboratory for Drug Delivery. Morgan has contributed to significant projects in tissue engineering, including the development of 3D printed scaffolds and organ-on-a-chip models, and has gained practical industry experience through internships at West Pharmaceutical Services and the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
