Waseem Amra

Waseem Amra is an experienced professional with a strong background in product management and strategy within the banking and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as General Manager - Products and Platforms at MTN, responsibilities include overseeing the business product strategy focused on API monetisation, partnerships, and GenAI/NoCode products from December 2022 to February 2025. Prior to this role, Waseem was Head of Product for Open Banking and API Products at Nedbank, where focus was on transactional services API monetisation, and also held positions as Senior Associate and Product Manager for electronic banking. Waseem's career includes significant experience at Standard Bank Group, managing digital banking and eCommerce products and services.
